Dieter Kern on his way to the German Championship for Hill Climbing 1971 driving 1600 S. He was supported by the German subsidiary of RENAULT and succeeded in winning 10 out of 10 events in his category. Even in three races he was faster than all of his competitors which means faster than two or three litres cars! The German Alpine Club magazine published in 2001 a series about this incredible driver and his career in its ALPINE POST.
