MANOIR DE L'AUTOMOBILE LOHEAC

The Automobile Museum Lohéac is situated to the south west of Rennes in the northwestern part of France. In its halls you find a lot of Alpine models with historic values. Founder Michel Hommell directs a media company and is an enthusiast of Alpine automobiles. With eighteen years he bought his first classic car, a Renault NN. With the time the collection grew steadily and in 1973 he bought a house in the village of Loheac in the heart of Britanny. Later on he decided to reconstruct the buildings to hold his automobile collection. Today the area is 10.000 square kilometers and the houses hold automobile presentation, cidre bar, engine hall, a gallery with varying objects and an miniature collection. Nearby a racing circuit as well as a karting course can be used, too. The opening hours comprise the weekend only. The Alpine car collection is impressing. Even a A210 and a M63 are presented. You find GT4 Coupe, A106 and A108 Cabriolet, different A110 models.
